In this instructional video I’ll be introducing you to the role of an Administrator in Command Central – your web-based portal where you can manage all of your Commander phone features and functions in real-time. An administrator is the person in your organisation that would generally look after the configuration of the Commander Phone service, and they’ll usually be a user also as they’d have a phone themselves.

I’ll step you through how to login to the Command Central Dashboard – your homepage, using your administrator login details. I’ll then show you through the top 5 functions that an administrator would be responsible for:

  1. Managing Users – including resetting passwords.
  2. Viewable Service Packs – customise users’ access to features.
  3. Hunt Groups – distribute calls to multiple users as needed.
  4. Time Schedules – define schedules, e.g. business hours, after hours, public holidays, etc.
  5. Music On Hold – upload audio files containing music or advertising messages.
