Information about your Current Usage levels
Commander Usage Alerts are designed to help you manage your usage and spend so you have peace of mind when your next bill arrives.
To help you keep track of your usage we automatically send alerts to your mobile via SMS. Usage Alerts are sent once you've reached 50%, 85% and 100% of your included call and text value, or 50%, 85% and 100% of your included data - whichever comes first. Note: alerts may not include calls or SMS to overseas numbers or usage outside Australia. For plans with shared data inclusions (e.g. CorePlus), alerts are sent once 50%, 85% and 100% of the total shared data allowance has been reached. Alerts are free and there is no need to register for this service – they are sent automatically for eligible plans with included value.
If you have used more than 100% of your data allowance, excess usage charges will apply in accordance with your plan:
- CorePlus Mobile Plans: $10 per 1000MB excess usage, applied as Automatic Top Ups. Top ups are applied once the shared data allowance of all CorePlus mobiles on the same account has been exhausted.
- Rapid and Rapid Plus Mobile Plans: $10 per 1000MB excess usage, applied as Automatic Top Ups.
- Clear Choice Mobile Plans: 10c per MB excess usage.
- 4G Mobile Broadband Plans: 2c per MB excess usage.
- 3G Mobile Broadband Plans: 10c per MB excess usage capped at $99.
- Business First Broadband Plans: 10c per MB excess usage.

Yes, whilst we do recommend the use of alerts, you can opt-out of receiving SMS Usage Alerts by calling us on 132 777 - 8 am to 7 pm AEST Monday to Thursday and 8 am to 6 pm AEST on Friday.
