What is nbn Priority Network Support? 

Priority Network Support is an additional service provided on our nbn plans. With Priority Network Support you get enhanced restoration times on nbn related faults. This service is highly recommended for businesses that cannot risk having their connection down for more than a day.

How do I know if I'm eligible?

Emergency service premises 

+

Premises used in the provision of 

• ambulance services; 

• fire-fighting services; 

• police or law enforcement services; and 

• any other services notified by nbn™ to your organisation as being emergency services; 

Essential service premises 

+

Premises used in the provision of: 

• defence force functions and prison systems; 

• personal emergency services which are staffed 24 hours per day such as Lifeline, State Emergency Services, Crisis 

• line and Poisons Information Line; 

• healthcare services including public health services, Telehealth Premises services and other medical supply services 

including for production, supply or distribution of pharmaceutical products; 

• food supplies such as by supermarkets and convenience stores; 

• education, such as by schools, universities and TAFEs; 

• telecommunications, including for the provision of infrastructure, voice and internet services; 

• key public utilities, such as energy, power, fuel, water, sanitation, waste removal and welfare; 

• financial institution’s services, such as by banks and credit unions; 

• public transport, including transportation of people and freight; and 

• any other services notified by nbn™ to your organisation as being essential services; 

Telehealth premises

A registered business premises used to provide any of the following Telehealth services: 

• general practitioner services; 

• medical specialist services; 

• Telehealth providers; 

• mental health treatment; 

• chronic disease management; 

• Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health assessments; 

• treatment of eating disorders; 

• pregnancy support counselling; 

• treatment of patients in aged care facilities; 

• disability services; and 

• any other services notified by nbn™ to your organisation as being Telehealth services; 

How do I get this offer?

  1. Log into Take Command 
  2. Go to the Contact Us section 
  3. Select Priority Network Support Opt-in from the dropdown field in contact form
  4. Write a brief message saying you would like to opt in to the free nbn Priority Support offer
  5. Click Contact Commander

We will action your request the next business day and Priority Network Support will be activated on your account at no extra charge until 30 September 2020.  

 

What is the contact number for Priority Network Support?  

Call Commander on 132 777 to report a fault, if the issue is on the nbn network, we will log this and the 8 hour restoration time for Priority Network Support will kick in. 

What happens after 30 September 2020? 

Priority Network Support will be removed from your account automatically. We’ll be in contact before 30 September to see if you’d like to continue using this service. The usual monthly fee will be $28/month
